What are the effects that humans have on hurricanes?
Q. I am doing a research project about the effects humans have had on the weather, hurricanes specifically. like has global warming cause an effect on the types and severities of hurricanes. if you know any places i could find info for this subject then it would be greatly appreaciated. thanks. best answer goes to the best info on the link given.

A. If humans have caused global warming, then the sea surface temperature of oceans has increased. Since the early formation of hurricanes need a warm mass of water and an unstable air mass, one could argue that global warming would cause more hurricanes. Similarly, after a storm is classified as a hurricane, it gains strength over warm bodies of water. Thus, global warming could spawn more, intense hurricanes.
